iSight in Karmic with MacOS X 10.6
Today I got my iSight of the MacBook Pro to show me pictures of my self. The normal way by installing isight-firmware-tools and extracting the firmware from MacOS doesn't work. But the ubunutforums.org helps. So you have to download the firmware-file from a dubious site and load it with
sudo ift-extract -a <path to AppleUSBVideoSupport>
I think this is just a copy of the AppleUSBVideoSupport-file from an older MacOS version. After this you have to shutdown and start your mac again, a reboot does not work.
